1. Introduction

Welcome to The Cosmic Solace (“I”, “me”, “my”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website (“Site”) and any services, products, or digital resources (“Offerings”) you purchase or access through it.

By using this Site or purchasing an Offering, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase from it.

2. Nature of Service & Self-Responsibility

The Cosmic Solace provides reflective, capacity-aware tools for self-responsible humans.

• Educational & Reflective Only:
  My work with Human Design, astrology, and flower essences is investigative and reflective in nature. It is intended to support self-understanding and decision-making. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.

• No Ongoing Support or Crisis Care:
  Offerings are delivered as contained, one-off resources (e.g. written PDFs, optional essence blends). I do not provide therapy, crisis support, or ongoing messaging, coaching, or “on call” guidance.

• Your Responsibility:
  You are solely responsible for how you interpret and apply the information provided. You agree to seek appropriate professional support where needed (e.g. medical, psychological, legal, financial).

3. Service Delivery & Timelines

All services are delivered asynchronously via email. There are no live calls or real-time sessions.

• Energetic Blueprint:
  Delivered via email as a PDF within 2–3 weeks of receiving your completed intake form and accurate birth details.

• Chapter Map:
  Delivered via email as a PDF within 3–4 weeks of receiving your completed intake form and accurate birth details.

• Companion Blend (Flower Essence Add-On):
  If you purchase the optional Companion Blend with your Chapter Map:

  • I first create your Chapter Map to determine the appropriate formula.

  • You receive your Chapter Map PDF and digital Blend Notes via email within the same 3–4 week window.

  • The physical bottle is then prepared and dispatched shortly afterwards.

All delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees, but I take them seriously and communicate if something changes (see Section 5).

4. Shipping, Customs & International Orders

Physical products (Companion Blends) are shipped from Balgowlah, NSW, Australia.

• Postal Times:
  Delivery times depend on postal and courier services and may vary by country. These timelines are outside my control.

• International Shipping:
  I ship internationally where regulations allow, but some countries restrict the import of liquids/essences.

  • If it becomes clear after purchase that I cannot ship to your location, you will be offered either:

    • A refund of the blend cost, or

    • A “Written Remedy” formula (a written suggestion of a flower essence blend, no physical bottle), depending on your preference.

• Customs, Duties & Taxes:
  For international orders, you are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or local taxes. I am not liable for items held, delayed, or confiscated by customs authorities.

5. Capacity-Aware Practice

As a business owner living with chronic illness, I operate a capacity-aware practice. I honour all booking windows and delivery timeframes to the best of my ability.

However, I reserve the right to reschedule delivery at short notice due to health flares or unforeseen circumstances.

• If I anticipate a significant delay beyond the stated delivery window, you will be offered the choice of:

  • A revised delivery date, or

  • A full refund for that specific Offering.

This is your sole remedy for such delays.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Because my work is bespoke and created to order, refunds are limited as follows:

6.1 Custom Written Offerings (Energetic Blueprint & Chapter Map)

• No Change-of-Mind Refunds Once Work Has Begun:
  Once I have started working with your intake and charts, no refunds are available, even if you have not yet received the final PDF.

• Pre-Work Cancellations:
  You may request a cancellation and refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided work has not yet commenced on your chart. Refunds will be issued minus any non-refundable payment processing fees (e.g. Stripe).

• Resonance & Expectations:
  No refunds are provided if you:

  • Disagree with the content,

  • Feel it “doesn’t resonate,” or

  • Do not experience specific outcomes.

  These offerings are reflective tools. You are invited to take what lands and leave what doesn’t.

• If I Cannot Complete Your Report:
  In rare cases (e.g. health issues, serious personal circumstances, or irreconcilable issues with your birth data), if I am unable to complete your Energetic Blueprint or Chapter Map, you will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A credit towards a future Offering.

6.2 Companion Blend (Flower Essence Add-On)

• Custom Product – No Change-of-Mind Refunds:
  Each Companion Blend is mixed specifically for you and cannot be reused or resold. Once your blend has been prepared, no refunds are available for change of mind.

• Damaged Items:
  If your blend arrives damaged or leaking, email alice@thecosmicsolace.com within 7 days of delivery with clear photos. You will be offered either:

  • A replacement blend, or

  • A partial or full refund if a replacement is not practically possible (e.g. due to shipping restrictions).

• Lost Parcels & Delays:
  I do not refund purely for postal delays. I will:

  • Provide tracking where available, and

  • Support you in lodging a missing parcel enquiry if a shipment appears to be lost.

6.3 Digital Freebies (E-books & Free Guides)

• Free resources are complimentary and non-refundable.

• If you experience technical issues accessing a resource, I will make reasonable efforts to resend or troubleshoot.

• You can unsubscribe from email communications at any time.

7. Flower Essences – Scope & Safety

Flower essences are gentle, vibrational remedies traditionally used to support emotional states and subtle shifts.

• I make no claims to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

• Flower essences are not a substitute for medical or psychological care.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or have existing health conditions, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using any remedy.

If strong emotions or unresolved material surface while using essences, you agree to seek appropriate support from a qualified mental health or medical professional.

8. Intellectual Property & Digital License

• Ownership:
  All content, frameworks, report structures, written materials, e-books, and digital resources created under The Cosmic Solace name (including the Energetic Blueprint and Chapter Map formats) are owned by The Cosmic Solace.

• Personal Use Only:
  When you purchase an Offering, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the material for your own life and reflection. You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, or share the material publicly,

  • Resell or repurpose it as your own work,

  • Use it commercially (e.g. in your own client work, courses, or trainings), or

  • Use it to train AI models or automated systems.

If you wish to reference or quote my work publicly (e.g. in your own writing or content), please attribute it to The Cosmic Solace.

9. Consumer Rights

• Australian Consumer Law (ACL):
  Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under the ACL. Where the ACL applies, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in cases of major failure, and to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

• EU/UK Residents:
  If you are located in the EU or UK, local consumer protection and “cooling-off” rules may apply. By purchasing a personalised digital Offering and requesting that work begins before the end of any statutory cooling-off period, you acknowledge that:

  • You may lose or limit your right to cancel once the work has started or been delivered.

You are responsible for understanding your local consumer laws and how they apply to you.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Cosmic Solace is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or Offerings.

• My total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with any Offering is limited to the amount you paid for that specific Offering.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns or wish to raise an issue, please contact me first at alice@thecosmicsolace.com. I encourage open, respectful communication and will do my best to resolve matters informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved this way, it will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
